DIY Coaster Set

Happy Girl.
I have to admit, I think I am going to LOVE blogging.  I think I have come to a point in my life where I will appreciate this "me" time everyday!!

I had a craft day today with my good friend, Leah. She's beautiful inside and out.  I love crafting with her :)

DIY Coaster Set:
you will need-
 Ceramic White Tiles [size: 4z4]
Scrapbook paper of your choice// Leah used pictures!
Sponge Paint Brush
Hot Glue Gun
White Paint
Mod Podge [Paper or Glossy]
Satin Acrylic Finish Spray Paint
Paper Cutter [scissors will do the job too!]
Felt

Once we bought our tiles, we painted the unfinished edges with the white paint to give it a seamless look.   We then cut our paper and photos 3.75x3.75 so there is a slight ceramic boarder around the entire coaster.

First, you want to apply one coat of mod podge to the back of the paper, place and center on the tile.
After dry, apply a coat of mod podge over the entire tile, repeat step 2-3 times once each layer is completely dry.
You want to make sure your coaster will be waterproof, so we chose a Krylon Satin Finish spray paint to do a twice over top coat to ensure durability

Final touches- Add a piece of Felt to the back of each coaster, this will help with keeping all of your furnishings in perfect condition!

...Tada
Aren't they beautiful?
